We link to the shop that makes most sense for the reader: usually a specialist knife-making or tool supplier, sometimes Amazon, and the right store for your country where we can.
What doesn't affect our advice
- Nobody pays to be included in a guide or to change a verdict.
- Commission rates don't decide picks. Where a cheap tool or a homemade one is the right answer, we say so, even though we earn nothing from it.
- If a tool was lent or given to us, the review says so.
